A new Claude Mythos checkpoint demonstrates continued improvement in autonomous cybersecurity capabilities: on a 32-step corporate network attack estimated to take a human expert ~20 hours, the checkpoint completes the full attack chain in 6 out of 10 attempts. It was also the first model to crack an industrial control system simulation (3/10 success rate).
