MISRust: Systematic Mapping of 179 MISRA C++ Rules to Rust for Safety-Critical Systems

As Rust enters safety-critical domains requiring ISO 26262 compliance, no Rust-specific coding guidelines exist. MISRust systematically classifies all 179 MISRA C++ 2023 rules into 6 categories based on Rust applicability — from rules inherently enforced by Rust's type system to rules needing new tool support. Foundational work for teams evaluating Rust adoption in automotive, aerospace, and medical device software where MISRA compliance is mandatory.
