OpenAI's updated Agents SDK is now available in TypeScript with sandbox-agent support and an open-source harness built in. It adds configurable memory, sandbox-aware orchestration, Codex-like filesystem tools, and standardized integrations with primitives common in frontier agent systems. Alongside it, Codex's June releases let standalone web searches run in parallel and added machine-readable `codex plugin list --json` output for plugin workflows.
