Ory brings identity and auth directly into Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and other coding agents

On June 10, 2026 Ory announced Ory Agent DX, a toolset that exposes its open-source identity platform to AI coding agents via Ory Agent Plugins for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and others. The aim is to give agents first-class handling of auth flows, sessions and secrets instead of ad-hoc credential plumbing. Single-source vendor announcement, so treated as lower-confidence, but it signals the maturing 'agent DX' tooling layer around identity.
