GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.64 Surfaces Resolved Symlink Targets in Its Path-Access Prompt
The June 23 GitHub Copilot CLI release (v1.0.64) adds a small but security-relevant detail: the path-access approval prompt now shows the resolved symlink target, so you can see exactly what filesystem location an agent is being granted before approving. It's a minor point release, but the change reflects the broader tightening of permission UX in terminal coding agents as symlink-based path confusion becomes a recognized agent-permission risk.
