solarsystem: A Dependency-Free Python Package for Planetary Positions
Ioannis Nasios releases solarsystem, a validated, dependency-free Python package computing heliocentric/geocentric positions for major planets, selected dwarf planets, the Centaur Chiron, and the Moon, plus sunrise/sunset, moonrise/moonset, and lunar illumination. It also handles coordinate transformations between common astronomical reference systems. A lightweight, install-anywhere utility for astronomy and ephemeris-driven apps.
