Exact and Deterministic Patch Descriptor Retrieval via Hierarchical Normalization

Proposes a patch descriptor retrieval method that returns the exact nearest neighbor — provably identical to exhaustive full-vector search — while evaluating only a small fraction of the database. Delivers brute-force accuracy at a fraction of the compute through hierarchical normalization. A practical efficiency win for vision retrieval and matching workloads.
