As of v2.1.207, background agents upgrade to the new version in the background right after a Claude Code update, rather than forcing a slow stale-session upgrade when you attach. Practical effect: after updating, give background agents a moment before re-attaching to skip the old attach-time upgrade stall. Minor but removes a recurring friction point in long-running background agent workflows.
