Pattern: Cross-Model 'Oracle' Review Is Becoming a Built-In Correctness Mechanism, Not a Manual Step
Amp's Dial now attaches a second frontier model to review the primary model's output at high/ultra, and Claude Code's /code-review quality was specifically tuned for Opus 4.8 across effort levels — both moving 'have another model check this' from a manual habit into the default loop. The bet is that one model's blind spots are caught cheaper by a different model than by more compute on the same model. Expect 'writer + reviewer' model pairing to become a standard configuration knob across coding tools.
