Multiverse Computing Raises $570M at $1.7B to Compress LLMs by 80–95%
Spain's Multiverse Computing announced a Series C targeting up to $570M (€500M) at roughly a $1.7B valuation on July 27, co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital — about five times its prior valuation. Its CompactifAI technology applies tensor-network methods borrowed from quantum physics to shrink large language models by 80–95% with minimal accuracy loss, targeting cloud, on-prem, and edge deployment. The capital funds expansion across North America, Asia, and the Middle East; the thesis is that inference cost, not capability, is the binding constraint in 2026.
