Claude Code Voice Mode Rolls Out: Push-to-Talk /voice Command with Keybindings Customization

Anthropic shipped push-to-talk voice input for Claude Code on March 3, 2026, now rolling out to ~5% of users with progressive expansion. Activate with /voice, hold spacebar to speak, release to transcribe—configurable via keybindings.json (key: voice:pushToTalk) to alternatives like meta+k. Transcription tokens do not count against rate limits; Russian, Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Ukrainian, Greek and Nordic languages added in the March rollout window.
