Nvidia takes a minority stake in data center developer Cloverleaf
Nvidia announced on August 21 a partnership with Cloverleaf worth several hundred million dollars, taking a minority stake in the 2024-founded developer, which had raised $300M previously. It follows a $1.5B Nvidia investment in SB Energy earlier the same week. This is the vendor-financing loop in plain view: Nvidia funds the data centers that then buy Nvidia systems, and the pace of these deals is a better read on capacity constraints than any earnings call.
