Four agent account-switching and quota-management tools trended on the same day
farion1231/cc-switch at 131,922 stars, jlcodes99/cockpit-tools at 17,383, Alishahryar1/free-claude-code at 54,136 and leookun/cursor-byok at 2,848 all appeared on today's boards, and all four exist to route around per-vendor subscription limits. cockpit-tools covers eight IDEs with quota monitoring and multi-instance management, cc-switch fronts six agent CLIs, cursor-byok reimplements Cursor's backend locally, and free-claude-code advertises 1.3B free tokens. Three of the four are written in Rust and shipped as desktop binaries, which is what you build when the thing you are managing is a long-running local process rather than an API key.
