tigerless-labs/agent-memory is holding ~130 stars a day with a no-API-key markdown memory runtime
Created 2026-09-01 and at 822 stars, the star history endpoint shows 91, 103, 138, 125, 128, 173, 64 across consecutive days, sustained rather than a single spike, and it was pushed again this morning. It stores long-term agent memory as plain Markdown as the source of truth, does local ranked retrieval, runs an independent sleep-time Manage layer, and shares one store between Claude Code and Codex with no API key. It is the second Markdown-and-Git-native agent memory project to hit the top of `topic:mcp` inside two weeks.
