Two Rust worktree multiplexers trended on the same board on the same day
raine/workmux (git worktrees plus tmux windows, 2,489 stars, 316 forks, 47 open issues, pushed 2026-09-12 at 10:19 UTC) gained 90 stars today, and max-sixty/worktrunk gained 44 on the same Rust board. Both solve the same problem: keeping N parallel coding agents from writing to the same working tree. The category now has entries at three tiers, from these single-binary tools up to Orca at 67,067 stars, which suggests the worktree-per-agent pattern has settled as the standard answer.
