Codex's agent command center now prices each task in tokens, credits and USD on a one-minute refresh
PR #44970, merged 2026-09-11, displays input and output token counts plus estimated credits and USD cost in task details, preferring live token totals and falling back to complete totals from usage breakdowns. Estimates are fetched for the selected task every minute on supported Business and Enterprise plans, cached, and stopped entirely when the capability is unavailable. Cached usage is cleared on account changes, reconnects or missed server events.
