TraceCrate v0.2 reads Claude Code, Codex and OTLP traces in one local workbench

Released 2026-09-10 and already at v0.2 on 2026-09-13 with 114 stars, TraceCrate is a client-side agent trace workbench with no backend and no API keys. It ingests Claude Code message JSONL, Codex rollout JSONL with session metadata, OTLP JSON trace spans and its own native format, then gives you a searchable timeline filtered by event kind, status and duration, plus side-by-side session comparison showing metric deltas. Its structure-only export mode strips free text and identifiers, which is the piece that makes a trace shareable with someone outside your machine.
