Three repos created inside the last week are all attacking the same gap, that multi-CLI agent work leaves no inspectable trail. tracecrate (132 stars, created 2026-09-10) is a local-first trace workbench that inspects Claude Code, Codex and OTLP logs, compares runs, and exports privacy-conscious reports with no backend or API keys. agent-launcher (196 stars, 2026-09-10) configures and runs existing coding-agent CLIs from one desktop app. maskit (225 stars, 2026-09-09) is a local redaction gateway that masks requests and restores replies in the stream for any tool with a configurable base URL. The shape they share is no server and no key, which is what lets them be adopted without a procurement conversation.
