Salesforce Post-Trains Its Own CRM Model, Koa, on NVIDIA Nemotron and Keeps the Weights Inside Its Own Trust Boundary
At Dreamforce on September 15 Salesforce announced Koa, its first CRM reasoning model, built by post-training NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super on a proprietary synthetic dataset derived from three decades of CRM deployments. Salesforce controls the weights and runs inference on its own infrastructure so no customer data crosses the trust boundary, and says Koa matches or beats leading models on its internal CRM action benchmark with three times fewer errors. Customer pilots are running at 1-800Accountant, Baxter Credit Union, Engine, Formula 1, UChicago Medicine and Xero — this is the largest SaaS incumbent deciding the frontier-model API is not where its margin should go.
