Weave Router 2.0 Routes Across Multiple Provider Subscriptions, Letting Claude Code Call GPT Models and Vice Versa Based on Remaining Quota
Weave Router 2.0 took the top Product Hunt slot on September 16 with a Go proxy that sits in front of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode and dispatches each request to whichever Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter model fits — now including routing across multiple provider subscriptions by which one has quota left this month. The company's analysis claims 60-70% of Claude Code requests are short, structurally simple completions an open model handles at parity for roughly a fortieth of the cost, and says the router matches GPT-6 Astra quality on two agentic coding benchmarks at about half the cost.
