TechCrunch·medium signal
The Chinese agent startup is in talks to raise $500M at $4B, roughly twice the $2B Meta agreed to pay in December 2025 in a deal the NDRC blocked on national security grounds in April 2026. Potential investors include IDG Capital, Boyu Capital and CATL, alongside existing backers Tencent, HSG and ZhenFund. Manus is also reported to be weighing a restructuring to prepare for a Hong Kong IPO.
