Released 2026-09-18, the VS Code side adds @model, @past-chats and @worktrees mentions to the Agent Manager New prompt with attachments, lets worktree-independent slash commands run from the New Worktree prompt, recovers permission dialogs that stall with disabled buttons, and fixes a memory leak that made session switching progressively slower. The CLI side stops denying read-only bash commands in Ask, Plan and Explore modes for literal text, and keeps model behavior synchronized with the selected agent after a switch. The day's earlier 7.7.4 added leftover worktree folder counts and sizes with a cleanup dialog.
