Two Unrelated Vendors Shipped a Product Literally Named "Agent Hub" This Week, One in CRM and One in Insurance Pricing
HubSpot launched Agent Hub at UNBOUND as a GA Professional and Enterprise product with Agent Builder, custom event triggers and per-action credit metering, and on September 19 Earnix launched Agent Hub inside its AIOS orchestration system, a curated catalog of insurance-specific agents spanning pricing, underwriting, modeling and customer engagement with 14 agents demonstrated at Earnix Excelerate London. Neither is a hub in the marketplace sense; both are catalogs of first-party agents with permissions, traceability and human oversight bolted on. The naming collision is the signal: "hub" is being reused to describe the governance and cataloging layer that sits between a platform's agents and its existing workflows, which suggests vendors independently landed on the same architectural slot in the same quarter.
