Huawei Cloud Opens 6,000 MCP Assets and an Open-Source Agent Platform With 50,000 Stars, Setting a December 30 Date for Markets Outside China
At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 on September 18, Huawei Cloud detailed a dual commercial and open-source agent platform: AgentArts plus the open-source openJiuwen edition, together exposing more than 5,000 general MCP assets and over 1,000 industry-specific MCP assets. AgentArts serves more than 100 enterprises including the Shenzhen Longgang District Government, China Southern Power Grid and Kingsoft Office, and openJiuwen reports over 50,000 GitHub stars and 3.29 million downloads. AgentArts goes commercially available outside China on December 30, and the new AI Cluster Service claims 20% higher token throughput than the previous generation with fault recovery inside 10 minutes, which is the number that matters if you are pricing long-running agent workloads.
