ByteDance Rolls Out Seedance 2.0 AI Video Generation in CapCut with IP Safeguards
ByteDance integrated its Dreamina Seedance 2.0 video generation model into CapCut, supporting up to 15-second clips across six aspect ratios from text prompts, images, or reference videos. The rollout starts in Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Following Hollywood copyright complaints, ByteDance added restrictions blocking real-face video generation and invisible watermarking for off-platform content identification.
