Zhipu AI's GLM-5.1 is now available to all Coding Plan users (Lite/Pro/Max). This follows the GLM-5 launch in February 2026 — a 744B parameter model trained entirely on Huawei Ascend chips without any NVIDIA GPUs — and GLM-5-Turbo built exclusively for the OpenClaw agent ecosystem. Li Zixuan announced on March 20 that GLM-5.1 will be open-sourced, though no benchmarks or specs have been shared yet.
