Samsung Catalyst Leads $50M Round in Normal Computing — AI for Chip Design + World's First Thermodynamic Computing Chip
Normal Computing raised $50M led by Samsung Catalyst Fund (total $85M+) for a dual bet: using AI to help semiconductor companies design chips faster, and developing CN101, the world's first thermodynamic computing chip targeting up to 1000x energy efficiency gains for GenAI inference. The platform is already used by more than half of the top 10 semiconductor companies by revenue. New investors include Brevan Howard Macro Venture Fund and Eric Schmidt's First Spark Ventures.
