VOID: Netflix Open-Sources Causal Video Object Deletion with VLM Reasoning

Netflix released VOID, a system that uses VLMs for causal reasoning combined with video diffusion for physically plausible object removal from video — including downstream interaction effects (e.g., removing a ball mid-collision and generating the counterfactual outcome). Open model and demo released on GitHub. Novel approach to video editing that goes beyond simple inpainting.
