Saronic Closes $1.75B Series D at $9.25B Valuation for Autonomous Naval Vessels
Austin-based Saronic raised $1.75 billion in a Series D led by Kleiner Perkins, valuing the autonomous vessel maker at $9.25B. The company plans to build 20+ ships per year by 2027 across its Corsair (24-ft), Mirage, and Marauder (180-ft) unmanned vessel family. Saronic previously secured a $392M U.S. Navy production contract and delivered its first Marauder hull in under six months. The round is the week's largest across all sectors.
