Cursor 3 Launches Agent-First IDE with /worktree, /best-of-n, and Design Mode
Cursor Blog·high signal
Cursor 3 shipped April 2 with a radical UI overhaul: the IDE is now centered on an Agents Window for running many agents in parallel across repos, locally, in worktrees, or in the cloud. New /worktree command isolates changes in git worktrees; /best-of-n runs the same task across multiple models in parallel worktrees and compares outcomes. Design Mode lets you annotate browser UI elements directly to guide agents, and MCP Apps now support structured content.
