Kepler Communications Opens World's First Commercial Orbital Compute Cluster — 40 NVIDIA GPUs in Orbit
Kepler Communications announced its orbital compute cluster is now open for commercial business, with 40 NVIDIA Jetson Orin modules distributed across 10 satellites interconnected via real-time optical laser links. Sophia Space is the first named customer. The cluster supports AI-driven Earth observation analytics, RF signal intelligence, multi-sensor data fusion, and autonomous network operations executed directly in orbit. Tranche 2, scheduled for 2028, will introduce 100-gigabit optical links and increased GPU density.
