ERC-7715 Goes Live on Optimism: AI Agents Can Now Request Scoped Wallet Execution Permissions via MetaMask

ERC-7715, the standard for requesting fine-grained wallet permissions, is now live on Optimism (and reportedly Unichain), enabling AI agents and dapps to request scoped transaction execution permissions from MetaMask users. Instead of approving every transaction manually, users can grant agents limited execution permissions for subscriptions, DCA, auto-compounding, and autonomous trading within predefined limits. This is the first production-ready standard for agent-to-wallet delegation, addressing a key infrastructure gap for autonomous on-chain agents.
