Claude Managed Agents (public beta, April 8) is a composable API suite for building and hosting cloud agents on Anthropic infrastructure. Define an agent's tasks, tools, and guardrails; the built-in harness handles tool orchestration, context management, and error recovery. Includes sandboxed code execution, checkpointing for long-running tasks, credential management, scoped permissions, and end-to-end tracing. Priced at standard token rates plus $0.08 per session-hour. Notion, Rakuten, and Sentry are already building production workflows on it.
