Visa Expands 'Agentic Ready' Program to APAC and LatAm — 85+ New Partners Across 10+ Markets

Visa announced global expansion of its Agentic Ready program on April 29-30, adding 85+ organizations across Asia Pacific (Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam) and Latin America. The program lets issuing banks test agent-initiated payments in production environments — covering card enrollment, tokenization, authentication, and transaction authorization by AI agents acting on behalf of consumers. This follows the initial European launch in March 2026 and represents the first major payment network infrastructure buildout specifically for autonomous agent commerce.
