OpenAI Launches Self-Serve ChatGPT Ads Manager — Removes $50K Minimum, Adds CPC Bidding
OpenAI opened a beta self-serve Ads Manager to all US businesses, removing the previous $50,000 minimum spend requirement and adding cost-per-click bidding alongside existing CPM. The platform includes pixel-based tracking and a Conversions API for measuring purchases, sign-ups, and leads, with data aggregated and no access to individual conversations. Agency partners include Dentsu, Omnicom, Publicis, and WPP, with OpenAI targeting $2.5 billion in ad revenue this year.
