On June 10, Ory announced Agent DX, exposing its open-source identity platform to coding agents via plugins for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and others, so agents handle auth flows, sessions, and secrets as first-class objects instead of ad-hoc credential plumbing. It's a single-vendor announcement so I'd hold confidence accordingly, but the "agent DX" layer around identity maturing is a real and welcome trend. Credential handling is where most agent integrations currently get sketchy.

Per BuildFastWithAI's roundup, OpenAI acquired persistent-sandbox vendor Ona to keep Codex agent tasks alive for hours to days, attacking the durability lead Claude Code holds. The framing cites Claude Code at 40%+ of the AI coding market versus Codex around 21%. It's a single...
The New Stack's coverage of Cursor 3 leads with a provocative framing: the IDE is now a fallback, not the default. That's deliberately inflammatory. It's also not wrong. Cursor 3 is a full redesign built around an "Agents Window" command hub. The headline feature is multi-agen...
Forget the productivity gains for a second. DryRun Security tested three of the most popular coding agents, Claude Code (Sonnet 4.6), OpenAI Codex (GPT 5.2), and Google Gemini (2.5 Pro), by having each build two complete applications from scratch. They ran 38 security scans ac...

wanshuiyin/HERO-Anti-OverDefense went from creation to 68 stars in a single day. HERO is Hashing, Edge cases, Rubrics, Overbuild, and the claim is that agent over-engineering isn't diffuse but falls into four recognizable shapes suppressible with a portable prompt contract acr...
The TypeScript project compiles a repository into an explorable, searchable graph you can ask questions against, with the explicit framing "graphs that teach beat graphs that impress." It targets Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Copilot. Directly relevant if your agent currentl...
