HarnessRouter Community Edition tops Product Hunt with 340 votes

HarnessRouter Community Edition topped Product Hunt's daily leaderboard on August 16 with 340 votes, ahead of four other launches, per Product Hunt.

For teams building on agent harnesses, the win says switching costs matter before any one harness settles the market. HarnessRouter beat the second-place launch, Blume's docs framework, by 42 votes.

The Community Edition is open source and markets itself as one agent API. It puts a single interface in front of multiple agent harnesses, so a team doesn't need separate integration code for each one it supports.

Expeditione took third with 259 votes. Vidaya placed fourth with 243, and Chert came in fifth with 210 by putting conversational agents into FaceTime and iMessage. The gap between first and fifth place was 130 votes.

That preference over a docs tool, a messaging integration, and two other launches reads as a bet. Harness lock-in matters more than which harness or model wins underneath.
