Three passes: scrape the Amazon notebook DOM, read exact character positions from the Mac Kindle app's SQLite store to locate fully hidden highlights, then capture Cloud Reader pages to canvas for local OCR through Apple Vision to reconstruct text truncated at those known positions (GitHub). Across four books: 2,432 highlights extracted, 815 export-blocked, 454 truncated, 361 fully hidden, with recovered text landing within a couple of characters of the true boundary. Fifteen stars. The reusable pattern is aiming OCR with a known offset rather than reading a whole page.

Triple-stream retrieval (BM25 keyword, vector embeddings, knowledge-graph traversal) fused via Reciprocal Rank Fusion on the iii engine, with SQLite for state and an in-memory vector index, no external database. The economic claim: ~170K tokens/year (~$10) versus ~650K tokens...
This is the paper of the week. arXiv 2607.28871 introduces BSG-VA, which replays every validation command an agent runs across three code states: the original buggy code (B), the candidate patch (S), and the gold developer fix (G). If a test passes in all three states, it neve...
Anthropic invented a file convention. It's now shipping GA inside a competitor's product. Nobody wrote a spec, nobody held a standards meeting, it just happened. On July 29, GitHub made agent skills and MCP server support generally available in Copilot code review for all Pro,...
claude-mem hit 80,189 stars at v12.6.4, with 1,840 commits and 109 contributors. It hooks five agent lifecycle events to capture observations, compresses them through Claude's agent SDK into SQLite, and reinjects relevant context on new sessions. No manual tagging. One npx com...
A repo nobody was talking about yesterday just became the fastest-growing developer tool on GitHub. colbymchenry/codegraph gained 4,222 stars in a single day, landing at 12,200 and climbing. The reason is simple: it solves the biggest cost and speed bottleneck in AI-assisted c...
chrome-devtools-mcp isn't another community MCP server with 200 stars and a README that doesn't match the code. It's Google's Chrome DevTools team shipping an official MCP server that gives any coding agent (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor) full access to Chrome DevTool...
