Version 0.0.17 drops the standalone Marketplace page and moves catalog installs into a tabbed Customize screen alongside plugins, MCP and rules.
Why now: Covered in the August 25 release notes for desktop v0.0.17.
Cline Desktop's v0.0.17 release folds six extension surfaces, plugins, MCP, skills, rules, hooks and tools, into one tabbed Customize hub. That means anyone who installed MCP servers or skills from Cline's Marketplace now does it through the Customize hub instead of a separate page.
The standalone Marketplace page is gone. Catalog installs now show up inline, above the browse list, inside the same hub, with each tab showing a live count.
The Models page got the same treatment. Providers now sort into Connected, Popular and All groups, and browser OAuth replaces the manual API key field wherever a provider supports it. That cuts the manual key-entry step wherever browser sign-in is available.
The agent's todo tool and the Agenda panel are gone outright. Scheduled tasks still work, so recurring automation isn't affected. The release notes don't say what agents lose without the todo tool, or whether it returns in another form.
