Why now: The pattern held for a second straight day, matching Product Hunt's nearly identical Aug 21 top ten before the plumbing itself shifted from cloud sandboxes to local Mac control.
Agent supervisors claimed five of ten spots on Product Hunt's August 22 leaderboard, outranking agents built to do new work. AutoClaw's 89 votes lead that group, ahead of four more tools built to keep agents running, reachable or contained instead of shipping new output themselves.
AutoClaw took #4 with 89 votes for a work agent that runs across desktop, browser and chat on MIT-licensed GLM models with free access. Maccess sits at #6 with 75 votes, letting you control a Mac from an iPhone. Pawvis, an open source webcam hand-tracking mouse, landed #7 with 74 votes. Agents Never Sleep took #8 at 70 votes, keeping agents running after you close the laptop lid. Port Radar closed the top ten at #10 with 67 votes, an AI port manager with one-click Cloudflare tunnels.
This is the second straight day the pattern held. Product Hunt's Aug 21 top ten also skewed toward agent runtime and permission tooling instead of finished products, but that batch centered on cloud sandboxes. Aug 22 moved the same plumbing onto the machine already on your desk.
Product Hunt doesn't say whether these vote counts turn into users who stick around, only who clicked first on launch day.
